Hi A'af,

I missed the stamps as I didn't join the Forum until this last July. Thank you so very very much for now showing us your original paintings! They are simply beautiful. Your use of color and composition is awesome and I truly feel like I'm looking at an inner Leonard. In the first painting I see Leonard the songwriter and singer (obviously, ) but he seems wonderfully immersed in his music. In the second I see Leonard the poet but so many levels....darkness, loneliness but also joy and peace. Have either of these been made into prints? I think perhaps many of his fans may be interested.

Thanks a lots for the appreciation, this paintings idea come from to release stress... and brings another "stressor" takes almost 3 years to finished it, around 2003~2006 i dont rush into it

for now i dont do printing of this paintings or in another format, just this stamps available, and i already happy to that perhaps later...

to view the details on stamps, just click the picture for "BIGGER SIZE" btw the design of the stamps frame is just fit to the painting anyway

A'af, I am not a person easily impressed by modern art, so you will understand that I am extremely surprised to find myself writing to tell you that your paintings just blew me away ... especially the first one, with Leonard communing with himself in mid-song. I too would be interested in prints.

I especially like the fact that they took you nearly three years to complete ... about as long as it takes Leonard to write a song! It is so good to meet a modern painter who understands that art is not just a matter of instant inspiration but also involves a strong element of craft, lovingly executed over many weeks.
