secret poets

I want to share one of the poems who came out of my hands, My ego don´t need to be feed, and this is just an invitation to every body to writh their master piece. every one of us is a secret poet.

First English , then Spanish

this is my first translation, sorry for my english, I will try to set it uo later.

"SO MANY POEMS LOST INTO THE PAPER OF LIFE, UNWRITTEN YET, MY GHOST POEMS, THE POEMS OF A BEEN INTO THE SHADOWS"

¡I declare my self a poet!
but only for my inside,
for Neruda´s pronouncement
I want to be one but in secret.
hidden in the shadow of the written silence.

perhaps that´s the reason,
maybe there´s lays the why
my poem´s pencils had passed away, they don´t write no more....
and even when I use them daily
they only let unintelligible furrows,
at the eyes of the inexpert on the paper,
but, for the eyes of the heart
the ink of them are tear drops,
restlessness, happiness; just foolishness.

¿Secret?
¿how do I secret Want to be a poet?
¿and the fame? ¿and the nobel?
¡Haa! that´s real foolishness,
and those are trophies that I got already into my pocket.

and I´m still not a father,
and already have too many sons.
bastard sons, like their father,
blind sons, as the ink of my pencil,
well, my blind sons, my bastard poems
have a secret father ¡a bastard!
who keeps the nobel and fame in his pocket.

Poetas secretos.

¡Me declaro poeta!
Pero sólo para mis adentros,
que por dictamen de Neruda
quiero serlo, pero en secreto.
Oculto en las sombras
del silencio escrito.

Tal vez esa sea la razón,
quizá ahí radica el por qué
los lápices de mis poemas
han fallecido; no escriben ya ....
Y aunque los uso a diario
solo dejan surcos ininteligibles,
a ojos del inexperto en el papel,
mas, para los ojos del corazón
la tinta de éstos son lágrimas,
Inquietudes, alegrías; solamente necedades.

¿Secreto? ¿Cómo es que
secreto quiero ser poeta ?
¿ y la fama?... ¿ y el Nóbel?
¡ha! Esas si son necedades;
y es que son trofeos que ya
tengo en mi bolsillo.

Y es que aun no soy padre,
y he tenido tantos hijos.
Hijos bastardos, como su padre,
ciegos mis hijos, como la tinta de mi lápiz;
pues mis ciegos hijos, mis bastardos poemas
Tienen un padre secreto , ¡un bastardo!
Que guarda el Nóbel y la fama en su bolsillo.

BROKEN DOLLS
BEATING ON THE WALLS
TEARING DOWN THE HALLS
SUFFOCATING ME
AND BRINGING ME BACK TO
THAT FAMILIAR PLACE
ON BENDED KNEES.

PAIN AND SUFFERING
STILL DEEP INSIDE
WHERE THESE BROKEN DOLLS
SEEM TO RESIDE.

CAN'T FIND SAFETY
NOWHERE TO HIDE
PAIN, PAIN, PAIN
NOTHING TO REGAIN.

THESE BROKEN DOLLS
HAVE BEEN BROUGHT
NO FAME,
THEY LIVE INSIDE
THEY LIVE IN SHAME
AND ARE DEFINATELY
ALWAYS THE ONES TO
BLAME.

TILL DEATH DO US PART
THESE BROKEN DOLLS
LIVING INSIDE ME
WITH BROKEN HEARTS.

users here can't move posts to another section once they have posted them, only moderators can do that. If you do find that you've posted to the wrong part of the forum, then the best thing you can do is just wait for one of us moderators to notice, and then we'll move the topic to the appropriate part of the forum, as I have just done - in this case 'Poetry and Music by the Forum members'.

If you find that we have missed something, or there is a thread you think should be moved urgently, then you can contact any or all of the moderators to do that: the moderators for each part of the forum are listed under each title, on the index page.

Ironically, this post is now off-topic for the section I've moved it to, but it seems the clearest way of answering your question!
