Noir Desir le vent nous portera english subtitles
Very nice. Who is the artist?

The artist is a French rock group called Noir Desir. Leonard Cohen performed with it I recall. They also did a cover of Ces Gens La that sounds like our wildest heavy metal. The lead singer and songwriter ( probably of this song) Bertrand Cantat, is in jail for murdering his girlfriend.

Hi guys!
Here are my top three for the moment. I could go on all night, though, I'm digging so many vids on YT. (Hence my thread on Nick Drake/Tim Buckley). Please check them out! And, now I'll go back to checking all your previous recommendations!

'Maybe Not' vid was disturbing+++ but I love Cat Power's voice.
I think this is one of her best songs - 'Cross Bones Style'.
(see how she looked before the booze got to her)

p.s. hey I saw Cesaria Evora live few years ago in Ft. Worth at a small intimate venue. she was terrific. One of the few performers I've actually seen live.

A video that i'm verry fond of ( perhaps because i like karloff so much ).
rasputina - the new zero
http://youtube.com/watch?v=CGkwKHtz0FU
The images correlated with the music work very well for me in this video.
josh ritter - bright smile
http://youtube.com/watch?v=swtq5eig8oY
And , just so you get a taste of the local music ( romanian music ) , a preety funny video .
nightlosers - dragostea-i ca si o raie

My alltime favourite video is dance me to the end of love , by leonard cohen ... but as all of you surely know it , i thought it wouldn't be too clever to post it here .
And , about Cesaria Evora , it was a big passion ( maybe my first musical passion ) of mine some years ago . I have seen two concerts of her , in 2004 and ... 2002 i think .
