You also forgot kd lang, for whom I would have voted.
I'd vote for Joni if she wanted to sing him a sincere apology song

, and he could humbly sing his acceptance.

... Joni Mitchell could have been interesting there

Well... I had to add in the word "sincere" as a crucial adjective, and now here I sit with an edited line. Oh, well... it was worth it.

It's quite amazing they did not work together (if I'm not wrong) ... I had prefered to see him do something with Nico, but she was more into Dylan ... Cohen wrote a fine song for her though.

Yes, and I'm sure that at that time, Leonard, too, would have preferred seeing himself do a duet with her. Yes... he did write a fine song for her

Well the man had a vision: Nico and Janis are from my humble point of view the greatest females of that generation, Janis being a natural and Nico could have grown to be a universal person like cohen, but she had her addiction.

A minor, but relevant, change... her addiction had her

.
I agree on the natural great that Janis was... I really don't know that much about Nico [can't 'hear' her voice in my mind, like I can Janis's].

As soon as I get sound, I'll be sure to listen to that... thanks de rycke igor. A shadow, huh? That doesn't sound good, at all, from what you're saying about her talents. Some personal conflict may have surrounded that happening.

I was referring to this song and her representation of it later:

Interesting how I phrased that... I meant internal [personal] conflict on Nico's part being 'pushed' to the 'back' and meant how it could've been depressing for her, with her already being addicted ~ and it reads more like they had a personal conflict between them that resulted in her being being put into a secondary position. I'll be glad to finally hear what you really did mean

, when I get to hear the clip. Thanks.

What a stunningly beautiful find, de rycke. Her face, his words...
In fact, no, this has never been shown on the Forum before. That was a search worth making. She's not very blonde there... I wonder in which direction she coloured her hair. What a face . . .

Well it reminds me of a death-mask, but Nico used to respond in that stage -when people said she looked bad- that that was fine, I propose you mail this picture to the forum-keeper.
