I've just emailed Lizzy to say that I will be waiting on the platform for her on Saturday in sunny Nuneaton.
I did think about wearing my red carnation but I decided on jeans and a shirt instead
Once Lizzy has seen Nuneaton she'll not want to go to Hydra :-)..

Operation Lizzy is due to commence...watch this space :-)

How come Nuneaton was sunny, London was wet, windy and bloody miserable today. Having a fag break nearly caused newmoanian (obviously this is spelt phonetically).

Linda you are talking about the food that I love

Operation Lizzie commencing at 24 hundred hours synchronise your watches.

Roger wilco over and out.

Matlock has been wet today but Nuneaton will be sunny on saturday..that I have decreed.
and have you not heard the olde englishe saying?

'when in ye olde London town
and the rain it do'th cometh down
and serpents swim in yonder lake
do not venture out for ciggy break'
circa 1694

Insanitor
Thats a good idea.. I could wear my t shirt with my avatar on..

but then again there is an olde english saying that says;

'when meeting lady from 'cross the sea
choose carefully the t shirt for her to see
and if she deems to walk on by
discard the shirt to catch her eye'
circa 1765

Linda
there is an olde english saying about egg and chips
'if other lady from 'cross the sea
laughs at what we have for tea
then she must eat 2 portions plus nine
and then she'll feel all dandy and fine'
circa 1810 ( or 6:10 pm)

The Knyghtes Tale
Oh, thou art blessed, Lizzytysh,
Thine eyne to witness chips and fish
in yonder noble knyghtes shire
- yclothed in crimson shirt attire -
"Sire Pete", methinks, his yeomen call
that noble knyght - and so do all.
Thou art the Lady in his shield,
his rede shirt for thee to wield!

circa 1340-1564

:D Have a wonderful and safe journey, Lizzy,
and lots of fun for all of you!!! :D

Love, Susanne

Paula,

I'm sorry about (for) the foods you love. I like mushy peas and bangers and mash. Honest. Esp. the peas.

Hi folks,
I hope you're all doing fine.
I've just returned home fr4om a month's stay in England
(though with a short interruption), where I had a little teaching job.
Unfortunately I can't come to Hydra this June. As I have just a few minutes
to skip through here I take the opportunuty, though, to wish to those going a safe journey and, eventually, a very happy stay. When are you departing exactly?
By the way, doe4s anybody know whether Leonard has met Roger Green,
the author of the banana book?
Hoping to meet the lot of you next year in Berlin
I remain in the rain,
Yours, Catherine.
