Singalong with LC at your wedding?

A couple of days ago Robert Shrimsley wrote an article in the Financial Times (FT) - reprinted later in the UK newspaper The "i" .....
'Covid wedding rules: `no singing, no dancing, no jokes in the speeches'
It included the following:

'Bands clearly will have to be issued with a playlist of Covid-compliant songs, guaranteed not to induce singalongs Anything by Leonard Cohen is likely to make the green playlist.'

it seems Mr Shrimsley never attended one of Leonard's later concerts and heard the crowd sing along to 'So Long Marianne' and 'I'm Your Man' .... or 'Save the Last Dance for Me' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvSMhgqh7JU :D

Sorry not to post a link but I don't subscribe to the FT so can't get to it on-line.

Robert Shrimsley is full of shite -- such comments are so tedious.

"Dance Me To the End of Love" would also make a perfect sing-along song at a wedding, even if only the "la-la, la-la-la-la, la-la..." bit.
