Grey November

For years I've been your love's greatest pretender,
My soul's bein' wrapped into a grey November,
When of your kiss and your embrace I do remember,
Of your gentle and mild caresses, and so tender...
(silvergreen - 2007, August 25)

Hi Silvergreen

This collection of poems from 2006/07 is quite passionate full of want and angst.
This one is my favourite (I'm reading it as being interconnected with the others). I like the longing of it and, though I know it was written before, it reminds me of the song, 'Did I ever love you' - 'And is it still raining/Back in November'.

Thank you, Cate!
You are right in a way, my poems are full of want and sadness and passion and love at its best...
A love without future, a forbidden one, a secret one.
This is a story from the past, which marked my entire life and has after-effects.
It inspired me to write lots of poems in English and in Romanian, most of them, at the time.
Now the story came to a certain end and that spark of inspiration is gone , but who knows, it may continue some day...

it's hard to make errors in a love that has just has a moment, but then a moment can be everything.

It might be interesting to write of that love now, by the embers of the fire (so to speak).

Your phrasing in this poem is so very poetic, silvergreen.
The result for me is feeling it in a visceral way.

Thank you, Lizzie!
This is an everlasting spark of the past, my poetry, my feeling, my dreaming.
