Bournemouth is the first UK concert - would be sad if there was no meet up ! Does anyone fancy meeting for a drink and / or food before the concert ? Any suggestions from local fans about a suitable venue would be wonderful - looking forward to a pint in Bournemouth ! - cheers Steve

Hi Steve,

I'd be up for a meet up too if any more local fans come along. I'm not so local as I'm on Isle of Wight but I have been to this venue last time Leonard came here and not sure what there is locally apart from a food/bar just a little way down the road but not sure of the name - I guess this doesn't help much?

Take care, Eve

Hi Eve - would be great to meet before the concert ! If we dont get any suggestions in the next few days , I will have a look at the guides and find somewhere reasonably near the venue - will post info a few days at least before the concert - take care Steve

Hi Steve!
I will be at the Bournemouth concert; am taking my little - or rather, younger, brother to his first Leonard Cohen concert!
If you manage to find somewhere to meet we will aim to join you.

Hi all,
I'm not really local enough to recommend drinking holes in Bournemouth, but I'll be down that way today and will have a look around.
Best, Bruno

How about:
The Moon in the Square
4-8 Exeter Road
Bournemouth, Dorset BH2 5AQ?
It's a typical Wetherspoon and there are better pubs/bars further up the hill, but this is not far from the venue (5 min walk) and over fairly level ground. Just a suggestion; I'll be down with my son for his Cohenitiation.

Sounds good to me - especially the bit about being on level ground (recently had knee replacement op!).
What time do you suggest?
