"I give you my heart"

Post by pink_is_dead »

I can see in many videos on youtube and several other lyric sites that the song "here it is" is also mentioned as "I give you my heart". Is there a reason behind this, like an alternative title (from a poem or something) or is it a widespread mistake?
Strangers passing in the street,
by chance to seperate glances meet,
and I am you and what I see is me.

I never heard of it before now. Just checked it - the man on You Tube gave it the wrong title without any obvious reason. Cohen never had the song titled I Give You My Heart nor it was the working title.

It's just one man and then the video spread to other websites.
