this is in the old part of istanbul, five minutes walk to the blue mosque.

i found özgür from the gallery of beautiful losers, he will also join the thursday concert.

hopefully we find each other in this huge city!!

our turkish beautiful loser, had the idea to meet at the monument on TAKSIM-SQUARE
it´s right in the middle of the place and there a lot of cafes around.
and it´s only a few minutes walk away from the concert place.
maybe around six o´clock or seven

Thank you for having a meet up organized anyway! As I am travelling with a friend who is less a fan than I am, whether I will be at the monument at 6:30 will also depend on her, but it sounds good. I'll try to check the forum again until then.

Re smoking: it's been banned in Turkey very recently too, in bars, restaurants and even in front of them if there are some kind of rain/sun protections, if I understood properly...

seems we have an agreement on meeting on thursday at 18:30 in front of the republic monument (its the only monument on taksim square, so you'll readily locate it)) ...this shall be the decisive notification unless we have the opportunity to discuss on the issue collectively again..you are gonna identify me by my beard and moustache pasted on my photo in the gallery of beautiful losers ) anyway i'll make myself identified somehow..no worries..) so hope to see you all there..

coming to the smoking thing..yes..pursuant to the recent law passed on 19th of july, smoking is banned in indoors at all public spheres..but the application is not that strict in front of the places..so we'll seek taking a place in front outdoor.myself i am a smoker too, so i think this is reasonable, taking into consideration that the summer heat allows for sitting outside..
