Concert in Gijon (Spain), 31 July

I need to open a topic about the concert of the Master in Gijón. We can post here all the news we know about it, who of us will be go, what songs we prefer....
This will be my second concert of Him (I saw Cohen at Lisboa the last summer) and I'm very excited because He will play at my town!!!!!!!

what is the capacity of this hall? how many people can attend?
what is closest airport with flights from UK?

Very approximately the "Plaza de toros" of Gijón has capacity for 12.000
Ypu have flights from London Stansted to the airpot of Asturias (OVD) with easyjet. You can go in car to Gijón from the airpot in about 1hour. There are buses too.

It's obviously a bullring and I love bullrings... And I'm also wondering about the nearest airport.

Edit: I just saw that a flight to Madrid is only about 100€ and the train isn't that expensive there (compared to German train tickets), so I'll have to wait and see.

Several more! Without confirmation I cannot say for instance whether or not a concert at Palau St Jordi will happen.

Try Air Berlin. The hub is in Palma, so the flight might be whereveryouareinGermany-Palma-Oviedo. If you get the tickets now you may get a good deal.
