Venues for the LC shows

I am a rabid fan of LC. I live in Edmonton. I have noticed, that most of the Canadian shows are in cavernous hockey arenas, where your seat is a zillion miles fron seeing Leonard.
In the US it seems the venues are smaller theatres, where at least you can see him!
We have to pay a heck of a lot for a ticket that doesn't even allow us to see him!!!!!
I have bought tickets for $180, but I am away off at the side, and probably won't see much. :( I suppose if I could afford $569, I could get a seat nearer him!!!!

I noticed that as well. I guess its a numbers game, more Canadians know him and what to see him I guess, thus the huge venues are needed in Canada? I'm lucky in Ottawa, he is playing two nights at the National Arts Centre (NAC) rather than the giant ScotiaBank Place. Any chance you can make it to the nation's capital for the concert?

Unfortunately, my bank balance won't allow me to travel to Ottawa to see him! I am stuck with horrible Rexall Place! :(

Frankly I'm happy he's playing at Rexall, had he decided to play at the Winspear - as cool as that would have been - there is no way I'd have been able to grab tickets. It'd be a repeat of Calgary.

What happened in Calgary? Sorry I didn't hear about it! I realize a big venue like Rexall Place will accommodate more people than a small venue So I suppose I have to feel lucky even though my seats are not great!!!!
