There is a good article (audio too) about Leonard and the tour in today's NY Times:
On the Road, for Reasons Practical and Spiritual
By LARRY ROHTER
Published: February 24, 2009

an excerpt:
Mr. Cohen’s world tour, which actually began in May 2008 in his native Canada, is scheduled to continue through the end of this year
Jarkko - does this mean that more tour dates will be announced soon? Red Rocks is not the final date of the world tour?

Probably - as before - next leg will be announced only at the very end of current leg of the tour. That means June, I guess.
But it is known what the fifth and probably last leg of the World Tour 2008-2009 will be - Europe in Fall 2009. (Although there were some rumours about Summer festivals in Europe, as last year.)

IF everything goes well, we will have Leonard and his amazing band back in Europe later in the summer (and fall). Nothing has been confirmed yet, so just relax and wait patiently (especially members in the Mediterranean countries

).

Just wondering... Any ideas, if they're thinking about some GA shows (at least a section in front, maybe)?

I would assume he'd do SOME dates in the SE US before calling North America done? My ex-husband is hoping he makes it to Atlanta, looks like the furthest south he's announced right now is Maryland, and nothing east of Texas.
Hi all, first post

I have cheap seat tickets for April 3rd in Dallas, recession employment casualty atm so the 75 bucks with all the fees was a bit of a stretch... but I am SO psyched, I've never seen him perform and I've been waiting for a tour for most of my adult life

Am hoping that the Nokia Theatre is one of those places (as I've heard) that has few bad seats.
