Thanks,
Bigdee

This has been discussed elsewhere, but the latest info is that it will open at the end of September.

Thanks for the info Jarkko! I must have missed it if it was listed elsewhere already. I did remember reading about it somewhere a few months ago but couldn't remember where I saw it. Thanks again! Dave

I have built a new page at
http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/tour2008-2.html
It features the tour merchandise (mostly of the summer leg) plus collectibles - looks like Bucharest was a real goldmine for collectors!
I will keep the page updated with new items - please let me know if you've got something not yet included!

Hi Jarkko
Was the Tour Book on sale everywhere - I don't recognise it from Manchester where only the Book of Longing was available.

are you interested in cataloguing each style of t-shirt that was sold? I have a t-shirt from Vienna (that I hadn't seen at previous gigs - and isn't in any photo on the merchandise page).. I could photograph it if that will help.

-- the tour book was on sale first (I believe) in Amsterdam , on July 12
-- if it is easy for you to take a pic of the other shirt, please upload to this thread.
I may later update the merchandise page at the Files, too, but first I want to
see which items will be available online.

On sale the first two nights in Dublin we were able to buy Unified Heart keyrings, though we didn't see them for sale in Lucca. Were they on sale anywhere else.?

Prendio: yes please - a scan would be appreciated!
Merton: I was in Manchester, Oslo and London but didn't see the keyrings. Maybe those were the first to be sold out?
Dar: yes, according to the latest news the online shop will open quite soon

Inscribed on the back of the keyring were the words "And grant you the blessing of peace". Hopefully the keyring will be available online.

Some observations on the Autumn/Fall tour merchandise that I saw on sale at the Konzerthaus in Vienna on 25th September 2008:
(1) Apologies but I didn't pay much attention to the T-shirts on display, as I wasn't really that interested in them.
However, I'm pretty certain that there were some minor differences from those I saw on sale in Manchester back in June e.g. the Autumn/Fall tour schedule was listed on the back of one design;
(2) The tour pins were available in both of the designs previously issued;
(3) There was a 7.5cm diameter tour patch featuring the Order of The Unified Heart Logo and the inscription "Leonard Cohen World Tour MMVIII MMIX". This was priced at 5 Euros;
(4) A new tour poster was available featuring the Autumn 2008 tour dates and a black and white photograph of LC cradling his guitar case under the heading "Leonard Cohen Unified Heart Touring Co." Price: 5 Euros;
(5) Rings (in gold, silver or rose gold - in one size only) featuring the Order of The Unified Heart logo were on sale at 80 Euros. My wife slipped one on one of her fingers and it fitted perfectly......but payment was not available via credit card in Vienna, so she might have to wait until Paris in November to acquire it!
(3) The Autumn/Fall 2008 tour programme contains many differences from the publication that eventually emerged during the Summer 2008 tour.
I won't list them all but suffice to say that the front cover now includes LC's signature and many of the photographs of LC and the band are different to those printed in the previous edition. It's also slightly longer at 26 pages rather than 24. Price: 15 Euros.
In my view, it's definitely worth purchasing, even if you already possess the Summer 2008 version.

Will we still be able to buy merch from the site? They didn't have anything when he was in Fredericton.
