This weekend
I blame work pressure and a lack of resolve!
Many months ago I blocked the contents of William's posts from showing on my computer. I could guess he was still stalking me from the frequency that his name showed up soon after my own posts but i had no curiosity what he was actually writing.
Very occasionally others here would quote him and it showed he was stuck with the same issues and the same personal problems.
This weekend I saw Daka's complaint and the witty criticism of William by my friends , Cate and Manna. I joined the game of teasing William. I wish I hadn't and I apologise.
I know often he can be offensive but he probably doesn't bear anyone malice. It seems to me he is particularly lonely and probably gets off on negative attention.
Anyway, enough of my purely amateur analysis. I retire from any connection at all with William's world and I will see the rest of you on the other side where the air is cleaner, the girls prettier, the milk and eggs are in their proper place, and the ice creams comes in 25 flavours, each of them whispering "lick me, lick me",

I must say I woke up with a mild headache this morning, do you think it's connected?

Mickey,
Maybe it's connected to wearing the white wig, all day. I'm surprised you wear it in bed as well. Like my false teeth, you should put it in water for the night, it tends to get mouldy.
Georges.

Re: This weekend
now Georges, you two are going to provoke me into the utter trivia that few of us wig-wearers ever clean them, but I do remember come summer holiday time to send it off for a quick brush and powder.George.Wright wrote:Mickey,

I bet I have made your day more fulfilled with the most unexpected and exciting news since it came to pass that there was not a British Wimbledon singles champion this year

Re: This weekend
Michael,
I hate tennis and cricket and football. All of them involve balls. Much rather go out for a quiet drink and smoke some bongs. Much more civilised. Anyways, my wig off to you, you are a gentleman, even though you bash my poetry. Seriously, have a good weekend.
Best Wishes.
Georges.

Annie! I had the O2 gig, I hired the whole damn place, I told a few jokes, spoketh a few poems, and I had a total audience of 3, (including Leonard Cohen who was doing a sound-check, for some concert he claims to have there on the 17th, "all sold out" he bragged , well "lah di dah" to him), then he challenged me to a swim across the Thames, and I slaughtered him, absolutely slaughtered him, winning by 17 miles, and when he finally arrives at the other side the next day, dog-paddling his way like a little pussy, he says, "ok, Big Man, let's try an arm wrestle", and he bloody beats me, couldn't believe it, "hey, you said best of 3" I bluff, but he just laughed in my face and waked away.
apart from that everything is good with the world

my junior in my current case zoomed in on my trivial "issues" and has told me throughout our 3 months together, "you don't like being touched, do you?" and after teasing me for ages asking for a hug, I finally succumbed on completion of a 2 day closing speech. Yeah, well, hugging another man is alright I suppose , as long as no-one confuses it with the real thing (which is, of course, hugging my dogs, beautiful non-judgmental faithful beasts)
