Hi
Went to all 3 shows in dublin. No words can describe it!
Could somebody if possible tell me the brand/style of Guitar Leonard was using. I haven't seen it before and I want to get one.
Thanks
Lynam

Hi there,
I'm pretty sure it's a Godin (a Canadian brand guitar) which is quite usual among performers nowadays... I have one myself and I'm really happy with it, very good for finger-picking. Back in 93 and 88, I believe he used a Gibson Chet Atkins guitar, so this one has to be quite new.
Best wishes,
Jordi

Hello
He already used the Godin nylon strings model in 93. The Gibson was there in 1985 and 1988.
Thanks
Pat

It is a Godin Multiac ACS-SA nylon. Leonard's is the black pearl colour, there are 2 models slim neck and standard not sure which one Leonard has.
My husband has a Godin, not the same model, it is so beautiful it has an amazing sound, plugged in or not.

If I'm not mistaken, going by the pictures of Leonard that show his guitar, it appears to be the same, older model Godin that he played in '93. You can tell by looking at the faceplate behind the equalizer controls on the front of the guitar. The newer models don't have this faceplate.
But I could be wrong...

are you based in dublin lynam?
there is a fantastic shop in drogheda called the sound shop in east coast park. they had quite an amazing range when we first went to the small shop, so I expect they have more now that have moved to a rather large shop

Ha
Darling - Sorry, I have friends in the US so easier for me to go there. Also, can take advantage of the shoddy dollar. I know Montreal is the home of the grear Godin guitar. I was delighted to realise that Leonard was playing a localy crafted guitar. What a man!!
Confetti - I'm in Dublin, so that shop is only up the road. Thanks a million for the info. I will take a drive up there over the next few weeks.
Thanks & God Bless !!
