As the 2008 tour of Atlantic Canada winds down, I thought it would be fitting to create a tribute of this amazing event. It serves both as a reminder for those lucky enough to attend one of the performances, and gives others a glimpse of the brilliance presented. The presentation features only very small portions of 3 or 4 songs and does not include any concert comments or storytelling. It will not ruin the experience of any future concert goers.
We are grateful Mr. Cohen commenced his world tour in Atlantic Canada. Thank you.

After watching the clips from the tour, I had to look at some older clips to remind myself that Leonard crouching and holding the mic close to his bowed head are not indications of aging, but are really the same way he has performed in the past. For instance, look up the performance on Jools Holland of "The Future." His hunching didn't seem to make him look old then, and he is just uses the same mannerisms today.

Also, I thought some people may never have seen Leonard before he became a famous singer. So here are two clips from the mid-'60s. The first is the first segment of a 90-minute movie on Canadian TV called "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Leonard Cohen:"

The second is a link to a piece of an interview on Canadian TV. You gotta love Leonard for this one:

I'm sure many/most of you people are familiar with these, but maybe someone got a kick out of seeing these for the first time.
