I've just booked a room at London City Airport on July 17th for £9 ($18 US) !

This hotel chain offers basic, clean budget rooms. The advantage is the proximity to the O2 Arena. It's a half-mile walk to join the DLR/tube network giving a short journey time to/from gig.
The link is :

Still showing £9 rooms for that night, but not for long I wouldn't think!

Kind regards.

Thanks a lot for posting this. It costs me £29 but considering I booked it after I secured my tickets it was still not too bad-I thought it could have been full! Hope you got some tickets!

I got tickets for all the shows in the UK, was a bit annoyed by the Ticketmaster Manchester 'no stalls' seats fiasco
Ireland - too expensive!
Amsterdam and Bruges looks like a nice trip-and reasonable tickets prices.
When I converted the Scandinavian prices to GB I put my credit cards away LOL!
Hope more can be added to foil the touts.

OMG, you managed to get cheap accommodation in London in July?! Good for you! (I live in London so... but I would have been really scared if I'd bought tickets for the concert before knowing where I would be staying.)

Thanks for the tip, Andrew. I paid 29 pounds but that's a real bargain for London in July. Now to start counting the days......
