There is supposed to be a show in Saguenay on May 30 (use to be called Chicoutimi/Jonquière). That's about 5 hours North of Montreal (almost a remote area!)

Peut-être un spectacle à Ottawa? But I have tickets for Montreal!

The rest of Canadian dates (incl. the rumoured shows in Maritimes) will be posted later this week!

For the show in Saguenay, the site for reservation is:
http://www.reservatech.net/SelectTicket ... ateID=6255
Haven't seen the prices yet though.
Sale open on March 20th at 9:00
Auditorium Dufour is a nice venue, 970 seats. Could be perfect for a magic evening with Leonard.
Location is about 200 km north of Quebec City. An easy drive.

Just got 2 tickets for Leonard's concert on May 31st in Saguenay. Since the Reservatech.net web site was so slow, I had to revert to good old telephone (418) 545-3330. There, I learned that they have added a second show on Saturday May 31st. First show on May 30th is almost sold out apparently (1 hour after sale startup). I would have never thought that Leonard would have been so well known and so beloved in such a mainly French-speaking "remote area".

I had the same experience. I finally got through to the box office after endless busy signals, and was told that the first show had sold out. But a second show has been added on Saturday May 31st, and I got two good tickets for that! The area is not "mainlY" but almost entirely French speaking: about 99% or so. A lot of people will be making a long journey for these two shows.

I know Bonaparte, I have spent the first 30 something years of my life there and I still have many relatives in the area.
I will profit of the occasion to visit my mother-in-law who turned 100 years old last February. See you there!

People considering buying tickets for these dates should not be afraid of this French-speaking thing. People from Saguenay are the most easy-going in the world. I know, I'm one of them. :D

Saguenay rocks. When I said I was coming from Puerto Rico, the box office lady exclaimed, in her perfect english with a quebecois accent, "Are you crazy?!" "Oui!" I responded enthusiastically in my extremely limited french.
