For the sake of presenting the other side of the coin, if it's the latest version of reality, it must not be a standard to live by, right? I mean, who really wants to change their lives by the status quo's version of reality? Don't think I'll buy.

and from another perspective, Leonard has said "as you get older, you start to realize the reality that you are not entirely in charge"

That line really is one of the most inspiring and cheering lines of Leonard's. And also part of a great song too!
