Thanks Mick, but don't go to any trouble. Enjoy Vegas but avoid the casinos!

Hi Jim,
I somehow don't think Mick will be able to avoid a casino unless he stays in a monastery, and I don't think LV has any of those! However, we will try to watch over him

and make sure he behaves

...as best we can!

Yes Jim
We have been given strict orders from the highest from the city of sin and the palace of Caesar's to keep a watchful eye over
Mick..that he doesn't gamble away all night and miss the concerts...and to keep him in line.
He will be well protected and safe and sound...
Mutti

Thanks ladydi and mutti,
I feel I am in good hands and will be on my best behaviour on the Strip.
I intend to gamble only what I can afford to lose (very little
),
kind thought from jdhayes but "a collection" might be appreciated more after I come back ....

October 17th: do not pick a date for the Sligo reunion until we find out if some concert is planned for Lissadell in 2011. Would picking somewhere in Dublin for the reunion make it handy for many fans ? (it would for me).
Not much of a response to 2011 reunion suggestion, is it worthwhile to pursue this idea ?.

There will be a 1000 Euro tax on all reunions in the December budget. We need LC back to relieve the gloom.

Tis early yet and I think we should pursue it but maybe wait until after xmas to move up a gear. We won't mention the unmentionable JD

Though I wouldn't mind having Leonard return to ease our pain

The Phnom Penh Post, 2nd November 2010.
Music legend Leonard Cohen’s scheduled November 27 concert in Phnom Penh has been postponed until an unspecified date, according to a statement posted today on the website of the event’s Cambodian-based organiser the Mekong Sessions.
The statement from the event management company cited “logistical issues” for the cancellation but affirmed a commitment to rescheduling the concert for an undisclosed future date.
“Leonard Cohen, Robert Kory Management, AEG Live and the Mekong Sessions regret to inform ticket holders and fans that the 27 November Phnom Penh concert has been postponed to a date to be announced due to logistical issues insurmountable in the given time prior to the performance,” the statement read.
The statement also said that all ticket holders would be eligible to receive full refunds, instructing people who purchased tickets by cash to visit the Mekong Sessions office in Phnom Penh from November 10.
No provisions were outlined for the refund of tickets purchased through non-cash based transactions.
