Dear CT ~

Your mother was even more amazing than I had imagined. She taught you so very well; and as well as for you, she was a role model for her entire profession. She honoured it deeply. Thank you for the additional information on her. I know there's even more. Incredible woman.

Thank you for the clarification on your moniker. I'm not familiar with Claudia Therese. Who is she? What is the nature of your affinity with her?

For your compliments, my heart thanks you. That means so much to me. Thank you, CT.

~ Elizabeth

Hello -
just dropping off my (off the top of my head) favourite lines to continue the thread...

So come, my friends, be not afraid,
We are so lightly here,
It is in love that we are made,
In love we disappear.

I'm sentimental if you know what I mean
I love the country but I can't the scene
and I'm neither left or right
I'm just staying home tonight
Getting lost in that hopeless little screen

Hi everybody,
I gave it some thought, and I think I decided now:
“You who must leave everything that you cannot control.
It begins with your family, but soon it comes around to your soul.”

Of course there are some more cynical lines that I like, like:
“looks like freedom but it feels like death
it's something in between, I guess”
and
“lets be alone together, lets see if we’re that strong”.

..it’s too hard, I’ll quit now ;-)

As a falling leaf may rest
A moment on the air
So your head upon my breast
So my hand upon your hair

that's beautiful Nathan...

but for me it's this line:

Show me slowly what I only know the limits of

It's almost hypnotic

...touch me with your naked hand, touch me with your glove.....
I try to imagine the "touch me with your glove" and find it so meaningful... :)

One of my many new favorite lines:

And my heart was the shape
Of a begging bowl

'The place was as dead as heaven on a Saturday night'

(I think it's the escaped Presbyterian in me that finds that especially funny...)

And I also love 'Show me slowly...'
