With that in mind I have to look again at our efforts and meet an extended deadline by tomorrow.
We have a plan but must cooperate with Lissadell people and "another" party as well.
So relax, while as the song says " I'm reviewing the situation"

Coming late to this thread as usual....
Carlow Mike well done, I think the suggested wording is very classy and fitting. I am curious - who is the "another" party?
Do you not have a paypal account from when you made a contribution to the LC plaque for the Chelsea? If not I can help you set one up. I think a lot of people would like to contribute towards the plaque.
And well done to Frelander on the thought of the tree and the sourcing of the tree. It was a lovely and lasting idea.

Carlowmike, I still prefer the original inscription - without the 'With Love'. It's brief, simple, yet says it all. Just an opinion!

I remember reading that Leonard's grandson had visited Drumcliffe along with him- does anyone know his name?

Malcolm stated earlier on this thread that Leonard was accompanied by his grandson but that assumption was based on the signature "Jes Cohen"
.
I think the family member quoted in the previous Post, would know if Leonard has a grandson named Jes

Adams partners name is Jes(s) so it must have being her. If the grandchild was there it is safe to assume his mother was there too.

My apologies for being so late to comment on this, but carlowmike, I think the inscription as you have it now is perfect, and so fitting that the tree will be at Lissadell. Of course, many thanks to Frelander for obtaining the lovely tree and transporting it! A beautiful remembrance of an amazing weekend in 2010!
I too am more than willing to contribute towards the plaque and will watch for a new thread regarding contributions.
btw...I believe Leonard's grandson is Cassius.
All the best,
Diana

Thank you musicmania,
that may explain the response I received from the Cohen family member.
"Badge and Shield Award" for you.
We can assume the book was signed by Adam Cohen's partner, Jessica.
The original enquiry came from Sligo.
Part of the confusion was caused by the fact that on the following page someone else had signed in as "L. Cohen, Montreal"
I will pass that information to Drumcliffe Parish Centre

36 hours away from the internet - can't believe I missed so much while I was gone!
