the last line remains
des·ti·na·tion: far
des-ti-na-ti-on far = 6 syllables. The word "destination" is not pronounced by any educated person as "destinashun"
Alice
"I am not a number"
Associated Press pronunciation guide says "destinay'shun." I'll go with that.
Latest distraction
Driving me half crazy
the other half sane.

Re: The Infinite Haiku
seems more likely that
you meant totally crazy
but this too shall pass...
... my changes as per Lizzy's comment below...
the other half sane?
not on days like this (I'd claim)
but this too shall pass...
...(this really sounds like crap now)...
... (I take that back... methinks it might be an improvement)...

Hi Violet ~
The unlegislated rules of the ol' Infinite Haiku is that you must use the last line of the previous one as the first line of your own

Re: The Infinite Haiku
I get the impression that the delineated structure is what gives the idea of or lends to the "Infinite" ~ the linking chain, as it were... you reach out your hand with your last line and the next one grabs it and makes it their first. So, unless we get all tangled up with our hands, it stands a chance to just keep going and going and going, like a long daisy chain.
Not "inexcusable" at all...

I just noticed your changes. Hey, I like it...
