What a venom, bee!

The dogs are barking, but the caravan moves on? Well what do you rather want to be: a dog, or a camel?

Peace now, bee, the time for stinging and shouting and calling people names is over.

Oh my! Such lively conversation. And so early in the morning ... . I just have a second here (for now) and want to say to Tom/Insanitor, I think your feelings about the board in general are jibing with mine. I think I tried to say that, and if I didn't  well, I got tangled up in blue. Your first post (some time after I left) is pretty much, in a nutshell, what I was hoping I could put across only I did it in more than one thread with a different approach. I didn't use as many words, either. On the other hand, they (the words I used) weren't as nicely strung together.

Bee, please don't look up a bunch of dates and numbers and names, please. It takes too long to read. Otherwise, I'll catch up with you all, I'm sure! 8) :D

See ya later,
Linda.

Linda, don't you worry about it at all. Perhaps you've noticed that I do not take quotes from the "wise" man I write what I think myself, without shielding it with quotes from higher authorities. 8)

Okey, Dokey then. I was afraid I was going to have to read the bible (both old and new testaments) plus take a crash course in physics. That would be a bit too much. Otherwise, I think I can keep track of things.

Later,
Linda.

Tom, after attacking me with venom on my every post, now you calling me to be in peace? You are quite a manipulator, when there is hard time to look your usual "good", aren't you?
As far as I know I was answering Paulas question addressed to me, when you came in with your mockery and clumsy twists, which you are justifying as "irony" well, it is indeed, you have to do some more training at that , in order to come out at least with some elegance.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

I don't think anyone was shielding themselves behind any quotes. It's great to write what you think yourself, especially if you are actually thinking. Using quotes from someone you have no clue about is preferable to making uninformed blanket statements about them.

The unanswered question (actually I think it was discussed by Sandra and others in another thread) is what IS spirituality and can you actually measure it. As attested to by others' comments it is deeply personal and individual.

:( No guru, no method, no teacher. Ah well....

There's a band in Canada called Chillwack, they had a great song called Raino - the refrain was:

If there's no audience there just ain't no show.

I don't know if it works from your perspective, but it works for me.

See ya,
Linda.

Religion, is giving without strings.
Spirituality, is taking without strings.

Are you sure you don't have the elements of that ditty reversed, Byron?

[You can see how much I'm entering into this age-old debate  .]
