However it would seem that it's going to be general admission at least on the floor.

Ken,

On the 'anybody knows the prices for Spain' thread, Jarkko says something about the 'seats in the first row(s). Could this possibly indicate reserved seating on the main floor? Ignacio also alludes to reserved seating on the floor.

Best regards,
Mary

According to the http://www.ticktackticket.com website, a Ticketmaster site which sells the tickets for Palau Sant Jordi, they have limited International Delivery (for a fee of €40):

"International Delivery: Delivery only to France, Italy, Greece, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Andorra, Switzerland, Denmark, United Kingdom, Finland, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden."

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that Wendy. Very relieved to know it can be done

Amazingly as promised my Barcelona tickets also arrived today.
With a 40 euros delivery charge I was expecting at least King Carlos or perhaps even prime minster Zapatero would be turning up on my doorstep with them.
However well done Spain/Tickytackywhatsit and UPS.
Makes you wonder why Ticketmaster can't get their flipping act together in the rest of the world.

Waited in all day for tickets to Madrid and Barcelona. No sign of any at 5pm. Checked UPS tracking and they had delivered them to "someone" (name supplied) at just after 10.00 am. No notification had been place in my mailbox at my house. I called and eventually got through to a main depot/call centre (with the usual queue and tried several options before getting to talk to a human being) and was told my next door neighbour had taken delivery. I did not recognise the name. Also the house has not been occupied for months. Eventually asked around my local neighbours and found, to my relief, that a new resident (not next door) had taken delivery of the tickets for me.
Although the speed of delivery was impressive, (it still cost 80 euros for both sets) I did not need the stress of having to follow up through a call centre. Also I was given two house numbers that they were delivered to (both wrong). Worst of all, there was no card or note to say that UPS had attempted to deliver the packages. On reflection it likely that I missed the delivery (I think I was listening to Songs of Love and Hate around 10.00 a.m) but do not believe it was loud enough to miss the doorbell/knock. Anyway just thought that I would have a rant. Very relieved now so can get on with the jobs my wife left me to do on my "holiday" today.
Looking forward so much to the Spanish concerts, but Liverpool in July first (speaking of which still not received those tickets). Should I be concerned :?: ............. :)

No sign of the Cap Roig gig yet.

Hello all

I am somewhat new to all of this but am wondering if it is possible to still buy presale tickets for the show in Barcelona. I am assuming the answer will be no as the tickets are for sale on tick tack. I am very interested in going to the show so if anyone has any lines on tickets or ideas I would be eternally grateful. I saw LC in Vancouver and then Victoria BC so seeing him in Barcelona would really be the icing on the cake. I am looking for 2 and possibly 4 tickets to the show. Thanks

vartan,

The presale for Barcelona is over, you´ll now have to order your tickets from ticktack.

There is also a thread where forum members buy and sell tickets. Maybe you can find better seats there.

Hope that helps..

Jarkko - is there any news from AEG on these shows? My husband has almost agreed to a little trip to Espana to celebrate our 35th anniversary in September .....

Looks like Cap Roig tickets will go on sale May 11th. There are sights already selling them for 220 euros plus, sounds like a ripp off. I have been reliably informed that prices for Cap Roig will be between 30 - 100 euros.
Jarkko, do you think there will be any chance of a pre-sale on Cap Roig.

It's a festival which very probably will mean that there is no pre-sale.

I notice that the concerts in Spain generally seem to have a later start time than elsewhere in the tour. In Cap Roig, in particular, it seems that the concert will only start at 22:30 (at which point, Leonard Cohen would normally be near the end of his evening performance). So to anybody familiar with the Cap Roig Festival, do you think that the setlist will have to be shortened? Or do you expect that the concert will still run for the usual three hours (and therefore end only at 01:30)?

Cap Roig sounds like a very attractive place for an outdoor concert, and it is tempting to use it as an excuse for a Mediterranean vacation. Has anybody been to this festival before? Any comments as to what may make it a special, or perhaps not so special, venue? What types of audience does the festival usually attract? The magic of the experience is so much more intense when surrounded by people who are deeply appreciative of the music.

Thank you.
