I have a certain idea why we may not have heard of Fred for a while! He may have stumbled upon that old song, or Leonard may have introduced him to it - and now he is acting up to it: 8)

Here we come, walkin'
Down the street.
We get the funniest looks from
Ev'ry one we meet.
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
And people say we monkey around.
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.

We go wherever we want to,
do what we like to do
We don't have time to get restless,
There's always something new.
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
And people say we monkey around.
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.

We're just tryin' to be friendly,
Come and watch us sing and play,
We're the young gneration,
And we've got something to say.

Any time, Or anywhere,
Just look over your shoulder
Guess who'll be standing there

Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
And people say we monkey around.
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.

Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
And people say we monkey around.
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.

We're just tryin' to be friendly,
Come and watch us sing and play,
We're the young gneration,
And we've got something to say.

Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees

extra verse:

Hey, hey, we're the Monkees,
You never know where we'll be found.
so you'd better get ready,
We may be comin' to your town.

Oh, Lizzy, thanks for the compliment - but it is not me who added it! I think they added it at some concerts... 8)

Mary! Are you really seeing Leonard ON your birthday... or with the GMT difference, will it be your birthday right after midnight, after his performance? If the latter, it's identical to what my situation was 8) . Hoping you'll report back soon... on Leonard. On Fred.

:D Happy Birthday, Mary 8) !!! :D

Love,
Lizzy

Thank you so much, Lizzy! I thought of you because it was identical to your situation in New York. It was wonderful as we were at the post concert meet up and everyone sang Happy Birthday!

Leonard and the band were wonderful. They are still having such a great time playing together. You can see that their bond is growing stronger as the tour progresses.

...and now for the bad news. I did not have any sightings of Fred. :( I was SO tempted during First We Take Manhattan to yell out "Fred we miss you"! I was in the front row right in front of Dino (be still my beating heart! ).

Mary

(Next up is Ottawa on Monday and Tuesday so I'll be on high alert again).

Happy Belated Birthday Mary!

What a wonderful present - seeing LC on your birthday! Maybe you should have yelled 'we miss Fred' before the concert, during the set-up. We just don't know who could be Fred's friend  :? !

Warmest regards,
Mary

Quebec City: No Fred in the grass, no Fred in the trees, no Fred on stage... Perhaps he went sightseeing in a prettier part of town. :(

Great show BTW, The Partisan was especially fantastic!!! :D

Just bringin' Fred back closer to the top once again....sigh.... Don't want our little guy to be forgotten.

The thread keeps getting lower and lower... Did we not guess something right? What can we do to see you again? Help us Fred...we really miss you....and your person.....or persons ;-)

Hugs,
