Oh mnkyface....thank you sooooo much! First you start this delightful thread and you have also provided us with 2 even more delightful vids of Dino :D I think "Everybody Knows" may be the song MaryB was thinking about when Dino really puts his all into it! It obviously must have been filmed by a woman ;-) 8) :D

All the best,
Diana

ps...now where are the Rafael videos?!

You're right Diana - that's it mnkyface! Thank you. Dino has also done some headbanging during 'First We Take Manhattan' . Gee Diana, maybe Rafael deserves his own crush topic :) !

Best regards,
Mary

I'm straight now Lizzy - thank you. But what you said about 'gorgeous Rafael' - that has stay!
Oh, yes... I knew who I was talking about when I said that much :) ; yet, as gorgeous as he is, he isn't really 'crush' material for me, just a very attractive man is all... Dino is just so bloody unique in his performing style [especially in contrast to the rest of the band], though, with such an individual, strong personae... and I love dance. He's not really doing interpretive dance, per se, but his body is just so involved with what he is doing... that it comes close enough to have a huge impact. Almost every time he would go off into one of his things [if I happened to see it], I would tap Ute and point or nod toward him, to ensure that she was able to watch and appreciate it, too... since I already knew she appreciated it.

Lizzy,

You're right - there is a lot of tapping and pointing in Dino's direction going on. Everyone just seems to want to make sure that Dino's current 'dance' is not missed. He is so entertaining without even being aware of value of his 'body language'. He is just totally into the music and the moment throughout the concert. What a bonus for all of us!

Crush is a strong word for Dino and/or Rafael. Enamored of the performance (they all do have their moments, don't they?) of ALL the individuals on stage who are holding court for the Master fits better for me.

Warmest regards,
Mary

Yeah, I know what you mean, Mary. That works for me, too. I'm thinking, if mnkyface were put to the wall on it, she'd probably agree; really, I think it's just a matter of semantics, though. Since she initiated this thoughtful ;-) thread using that particular word, I just went with it in responding. [I'm not so sure Dino's unaware of the impact, though... I suspect this is not his first set of feedback on it during his performing career ;-) ~ it is, however, something that clearly is part of his groovin' with his music and that of the others 8) . [Such a 60's term, groovin', but it sure seems to work, eh?]

Haha... I just saw your emoticons regarding the "Everybody Knows" video  . Yep.

What I wrote on YouTube:
Well, I sure had to "Favorite" that one! Thanks to the woman who filmed it ;)!

More of Dino's body punctuations of his music... he's such a pleasure to watch.
He gets even 'wilder' than that; even so, he's such a treat :D .

Thanks for posting it!

Nah, I'm going with Crush. What can I say- I'm a fangirly kind of girl and Dino (and LC  and other male band members) merit that kind of fawning, female attention too. IMO there's not enough of it on this forum. Call me immature...

Not that I don't love them for their minds. I read in Dino's bio that he idolizes Buster Keaton. Me too! I know I'd be a blathering idiot if I ever met LC...but Dino? No problem. I could wax about the similarities/differences between The General and Steamboat Bill, Jr. for hours.

Haha, Mnkyface. Well, I gave you the out, even if you chose not to take it ;-) .

Fer me, crush isn't really the right word, but hey... :) , I sure do like his style of performing ;-) . I've never read a single word about him, so can't comment on his mind. Wouldn't have a single word to discuss about Buster Keaton because I know as little about him as I do about Dino. Sure am looking forward to watching Dino in Detroit.

[Now, if one isn't particularly motivated to seek further regarding their mind and them as a person, does that reduce it all to a crush? Hmmm :o .]

I wonder what it says about me that my crushes are a 74 year old man, his bald, watch-chain-wearing accompaniest, and a dead silent film comedian.

LOL it means you're keeping it old-school.

Can I have that pic in your avatar? I almost spit out coffee laughing when I saw it & want it for my computer.

Well, IMO, a crush on Leonard means you definitely have class (after all, think of Anjani)! ;-) A crush on Dino means you recognize a very sexy man who is, btw, also very talented and cool. 8) But, honey, I don't know what to say about a dead man, except that perhaps Buster is smiling in heaven right now. :D

And let's not forget Rafael......mmmm....

All the best,

o.k., o.k, I give up. I'll wear a Dino Soldo mask for you. Does anyone know where I may purchase one? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Got to run. I'm late for my harmonica lesson.

Mike, I am laughing so hard right now! If I was a coffee drinker I'd be spitting it out like NewsGal.

If Leonard actually said that during the song (you know how he changes it to "old mask", "leather mask", etc) I think I'd spontaneously combust.
