thank you so much for the map. I will be wearing high heels and I wondered if you can guarantee that the walk will still be completed in 26 minutes?
Also, if Michael carries me how long will it then take, particularly if he is also wearing high heels?
Love
Sue

Is it ok for a newbie to these gatherings to attend the Troubadour meet-up? I went to the O2 concert in July but was not able to meet up beforehand.

Padma, do you think there will be time for us all to go Ice-Skating in Queensway? I think it is en route from the Troubled Ore to the Rab Nesbitt Hall. Please confirm in the next 10 minutes.

Only if you have your own skates (and you wear them there). There won't be enough time to hire, change into and return skates. Sorry I wasn't able to reply within 10 minutes. It took me a couple of hours to get to the Troubled Ore from Barnet, walk to Queensway and hire, change into and return skates (during peak time). I wanted to be sure that it wasn't going to be possible to slip in a trip to the ice rink before responding.
Hope you're not too disappointed - maybe you could read a pome instead?

the results of your so-called research are wholly invalidated by the tardiness. I now refuse to speak to you at the Troubador (unless youa re in full ice-skating gear)

Padma - are you already accepting seat reservations ? I don't wanna sit next to mickey-none, as I could not stand to hear that mickey-nonsense on the very day of my last Leonard Cohen concert ever. I wouldn't mind sitting next to Tyler though. He's friendly to Germans I heard.

Henning - I'll speak to Tyler tonight. He's very busy tiling my bathroom at the moment (and I don't want to disturb him)....because the bathroom needs to be ready for the 17th..... I think there may be quite a few seats empty around Michael. Maybe, he could use them to put his ice-skates on?
