May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

Happy birthday Leonard. I hope you recover quickly from the illness that stopped you in your tracks in Spain. Thank you for 3 of the most memorable nights of my life-one in Rome, 2 in Australia. Yes, we travelled the world to see you and it was worth every penny. Our whole family came-kids and all. They used to call you the la la la man-they grew up to love you just like their parents. Your strenght and energy are an inspiration-whether it was the life time of sex drugs and alcohol or the spirituality, I want what you're having.
Thank you for the joy.

Happy Birthday, Leonard. May you live to a ripe old age and continue to inspire the world with your words and music. You are an inspiration to me as I see myself as a sometimes depressed yet creatively poetic ladies' man of the world. Also, may you get well soon!

Wishing you a wonderful 75th birthday Leonard. May you rock Barcelona. You have bestowed upon us, your adoring fans decades of musical, lyrical, poetic and literary genius. You have done this in a gentle, kind, gracious and humble manner. Your contributions to the arts are immeasurable. This year you gave us the best concert we ever attended. We're not young ourselves and we have been to many. Thank you so much for all of this. May you enjoy the rest of your tour, and then may you enjoy a restful time with your dear family. Many Happy Returns on this your 75th Birthday.

Many Happy Returns of the Day Leonard, have a wonderful night in Barcelona, I'm sure your Spanish fans will give you a birthday to remember!
So glad to hear you are well on the road to recovery following your recent bout of food poisoning, no skipping off the stage that night!
Have a wonderful birthday and I wish you much happiness and many more nights to skip!

Dear Mr. Cohen, you and your music come along with me since 30 years. I wish you a good birth-Day and a good concert in barcelona tonight. Fine that you have endured your stomach upset! Thank you for the music and the spiritual feeling you send with your songs! Like you said in Berlin to me (and the other 15000) "Take Care", I wish you a "Take Care" to your birthday. Dear regards Lanigan

On this day 75 years ago dear Leonard you began your journey into what is known as life....your beginning . We offer you our love and praise you for all that you have given to us. Through your lyrics and music we have all witnessed your life and continue to do so. With pen to paper you have opened your heart and shared all the events of your life as it unfolded. You placed the songs into the air... and how fortunate for all of those who heard the song and followed it to the artist. You have never asked for anything back and you give so much. You are indeed an inspiration .... So my dear Leonard on this day as you enter a new season in your life I celebrate you and give thanks for all that you have given. I wish your season to be long and filled with happiness and love...
With my deepest respect... Happy Birthday Leonard

Happy Birthday, Leonard. Thanks for the tour of a lifetime, but do please look after your health - especially while Saturn is transiting the last degrees of Virgo!
Very best wishes, John E
