Hydriot - I share your sentiments entirely, and if you can't see the colours of the Webb Sisters eyes, the seats are not worth having! As it happens, in the 23 Leonard concerts I've attended , the worst seat I've had was row 12 on the right side of the arena at the Albert Hall in 1970. If I'm meant to be at O2 I will, but on the other hand, one thing I've learnt from Leonard, it's that you have to be prepared to let anything go; and sooner or later that includes Leonard Cohen concerts, too.

One thing that has to be said is that the ticket prices for Leonard at the O2 are quite reasonable, by today's standards. However, since nothing has been done to stop the tickets going straight to the secondary market, the people who will benefit most from this are the touts, and agencies who are effectively touts (such as Ticketmaster).

Sadly I missed the forum presale yesterday, but thought I'd have a crack at the O2 Priority presale today.

C1 were the best seats on offer by the time I logged on at 2 minutes past 9.

Sigh.

finally I got some A1 ROW X tickets.

Does anybody know if the numbering is left to right or the opposite?

It is left to right and across all the rows. So A1 seat 1 is the extreme left of the floor. A3 seat 50 (where I am) is, I think, the extreme right (an unusual position for me!)

But the seating plan says that A1 is on the right.

It depends how you look at it. On the plan on page 1 of this thread A1 is on the right from the stage but from the audience perspective it is on the left, no?

Sometime in the next year or two a lot of people will be saying the same thing-- but it won't be because the seats aren't good enough.

Well hi everyone, I'm a forum newbie but very long time fan. Having been on holiday last year for the london & ireland concerts, ended up paying viagogo prices in Madrid. Luckily we met two fellow scots en route who mentioned tickets via this forum and for once I had my wits about me and joined up. Only saw the announcement last night but am delighted with my side seats which are now on sale at viagogo for £225. Also booked Berlin, a much easier booking experience. Looking forward to seeing new venues at home (scotland perhaps??), but a great opportunity to travel if not. Thanks again Jarkko.

In a theatre, all directions are given from the point of view of the actors, so 'Stage Right' is on the left of the auditorium as seen from the seats.

I was incredibly lucky to get seats in the front row.
However, I am at the very far right, seats 49 and 50.
Does anyone know if there will be speakers or anything obstructing the view? I know lots of you often get front row seats, and I wondered if anyone has experience of this.
I know how lucky I have been - and I'm certainly not complaining - but I would be grateful to hear from someone who knows.
In Stuttgart I bought a front row seat from a member of the forum, and the stage was really badly organinsed, with big boxes and speakers in the way, and it's made me wary!
Hope someone can help.
