A good point. When in doubt, quote from the bible - it's def. public domain, and contains all human emotion, good and bad. A quote for all purpose. One may even tinker with the wording, if they dare.
Failing that, the Honey-Bunny Sunny Funnies (sorry if I got that wrong, my memory is short), is another text of 'A Quote for All Reasons' - and one I could recommend. Thank you for pointing that out. I just may take that hefty tome off its shelf, and insert a phrase, here and there, now and again.

l-l I like your signature. Life really is too short. It is what we are given and what we must appreciate. Too much time is spent on remorse, anger, counting money, counting other people's money, listing our woes, hindsightedly admonishing ourselves, finding fault, ignoring advice; wasting time on spurious postings across the threads. No woman/man has a copyright on our life. So take the Expo Line; look out on the homes and businesses as they fly passed; stay on to the Seabus; count the gulls, dodge the seaplanes; breathe your air; live your Life. It's a gift to be enjoyed, endured and experienced in full measure.
Meanwhile, I'll sit in front of the fire with me sherry and memories.

Advice on life taken, and appreciated. Observations on your life, unsolicited, but here it comes anyway: sounds like a life worth living. Our lives are as individual and unpredictable as our futures. Life has as many ups and downs as a carnival ride. But, that's life. Full of surprises, often where and when you least expect them. That's what qualifies them as being 'surprises'. Again, c'est la vie.

I don't think it's quite come to that, John, not from what I've seen of you!
