These are all extremely silly-and fun!

Looks much like the usual suspects spilling the silly. You know, ANYONE who has heard of Dr. Seuss can put one or two of these together...don't let the word 'poetry' intimidate you...the rest of us never do 8)

Please, more folks need to stoop to 'our' level :)

Here I go again as I stoop to such levels.
This was prompted by a query at another thread.

Faddish For A Fetish

If ya feel a little bluish,
Down to your last buck.
Maybe a little churlish,
Because a thief just stole your truck.
If life is somewhat hellish
And the pieces come unstuck,
Employ yourself a fetish,
It may well change your luck.

If you need a foe to vanish
Or find someone to fuck.
A demon you must banish,
In a rut you may be stuck.
If you find you can't distinguish
An ibis from a duck.
Find yourself a fetish
They say it brings you luck.

When the work-day sends you peevish
Or the night calls you a schmuck.
If your boss has made you squeamish
And you're just about to chuck.
Just be a tad outlandish,
No need to run amok.
Conjure up a fetish
And wish on it for luck.

It may sound a little freakish
As if you're all moonstruck.
And reason is relinquished,
Like wading in the muck.
A trick to cure the anguish
No need for life to suck.
Just get yourself a fetish
To create a world of luck.

:P Cheers, Witty.

For Lovers everywhere......

Love Conquers

As I watched her walk
Across the Heath,
Black was the colour
Of my true love's teeth.

As I watched him wander
Through the fair,
Bald was the colour
Of my true love's hair.

Thanks again Spike. I've got loads of these. Perhaps JTS can add a few?

Words Without Worth

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats aloft o'er dale and hills,
When all at once I came upon
My dog being sick on the daffodils.

I love Spike's stuff.

I'm surprized Spike didn't go on into his Bee having Fleas. His 'nonsensical' stuff is quite delightful.

The Flea

How teeny teeny wee
Is the little tiny flea.
One would think that one so small
Could do no harm at all.
But all last night
In my hotel
He made me scratch
Like merry hell.

Thanks Spike. This is for lizzie.

Pete, a great little impromptu.

Laurie, Lizzie, glad you liked the Faddish.... Took a few hours to nut this out. But it gets away from the blueprint a bit. (Icicles style)

Cheers, Witty.
