I share this suspicion. What a neglection of duty! He should sit at his poet's workbench trying to get his second line right!

Congrats to the Welsh. They didn't only send Dylan Thomas, Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins and a couple of other celebrities that gave the world the impression "England" were still there, they made it. To quote my dear Dylan Thomas: "To Wales in my arms..."

Celtic celebrations may continue. Or start. Or...

two celtic tribes fought and now
a grand slam for Wales

Not good, I know, but the best i could manage with the mother of all hang-overs. Today the Welsh are more Welsh than they have ever been. I am so pleased that I started this thread after the first match. Must do it again.

We stopped the Orangemen and the Welshmen in their tracks in Dublin this weekend. Not a bad weekend at all.

This was not the happiest sunday afternoon I have ever had. But Kieron, there is no real justification in placing Wales in the same sentece as "orangmen"

Fair point and it is taken Rob, no offence was intended by mentioning the "O Men" and Wales in the same sentence.

I took great pleasure in watching Wales rebuild from the last world cup and take glory last year with an amazing campaign in the 6 nations.

I would not worry too much about Mr Peel, Charvis and Co, the hard part was last year, now they have tasted success at the highest level it will come again. That self belief from being a champion is what we have none of. Like our golfer, Harrington, always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Success breeds success, it's easier to score when your winning, yadda yadda ya.
A good man at the top to settle things and regroup like you did before will sort it. Who though?

Thank you for your salute. Thankfully the struggle has changed, irrespective of those yobs on Saturday. I was there in a peaceful capacity and found myself hemmed in to the GPO (ironic in the 90th year since 1916) by the riot squad who did a great job of containing the Celtic clad Kids. And kids is all they were, holligans who would have throw bricks and fireworks for any cause.
They reminded me and many others of the football hooligans of the eighties. The media here has gone daft trying to pin the organisation of the riots on Sinn Fein, absolute crap. Hooliganism is still alive unfortunately.

Whilst I am happy that the march did not procede and the flags and drums were packed up and sent back to the border under Garda escort,
I am sorry for the hordes of very welcome and fun loving welsh men and women who came over for the "Craic" and a game of football. I hope it didn't spoil their weekend too much.

They certainly didn't do it in my name.

Onwards and upwards as they say.
