It was fine when I was there, too, mutti... just as you and holydove have described.
This is what I based my comment on, though:

A small amount of graffiti in a part of montreal that has quite a bit

"Quite a bit" of graffiti sounded like 'downhill' to me.
Glad to see it's so minimal. Looks like WA ~ someone's initials, maybe?
