To be honest, lightasabreeze being the same age as L.C would certainly make them probably the oldest person I would ever have seen at any LC concert, so a big bravo to you. I was a mere 20 when I first saw yer man on the IOW and younger still when I first heard and purchased the first album.

I saw an older person at a leonard cohen concert! I treated my dad to a concert in 2009 at which point he was 84. He is 87 now and going strong.
He wasn't much of a fan - but came away very impressed

I took my mother to the Lissabon concert 2009 when she was 79 years old.
The following year we took Regina´s mother to the Salzburg concert, but she was only 74.
And this year we are planning to take my nephew to Mannheim, 12 years old.

Lightasabreeze and Evie, you have a great record of long-standing loyalty to LC.
I hope you will be rewarded with many UK concerts....eventually.

(Glad you enjoyed Kilmainham, Evie :D )

In Victoria in 2009, we saw a gentleman who was around 90-- looking quite dapper and apparently cruising by himself. That same night before the show there were three girls about age 17 who were so excited to see Leonard that they arrived a couple hours early and sat leaning against the glass door so they could say they were the first ones in.

Thanks Tipperary Ann, I hope to return to Dublin sometime soon - and I hope likewise you have many choices of concerts locally x
