Have you seen the man? I'm guessing you don't like him!

Keith James was remarkably good last night in Edindurgh with interesting and sometimes unusal renditions of some of Cohen's classics. His accoustic version of First we take Manhattan was superb. He has also put some of the early poetry to song for the first time. He is definitely worth seeing provided you go with an open mind.

Saw Keith James last night at the Glasgow Film Theatre..... Because of the venue a Lenny documentary was shown first, then after the break Keith James, latterly accompanied by female vocalist......... I struggled with him at first but by the end it was quite enjoyable.... He reminded me of and old English folk musician who will be skipping round Stonehenge at sunset..... and sorry to say, it really wasn't my cup of tea.... He also handed out some percussion instruments for a singalong version of So Long Marianne..... very twee.
And.... for this Lenny evening we also got Joni Mitchell and Neil Young? Anyway.... it was only a tenner.
