Yes, I also find "Because Of" with its whispers and sighs is quite Gainsbourg style. They are both (well, Gainsbourg was) masters of speak singing, two of the very few who make it sounds great. But IMHO Leonard`s mumbling is far sexier than Gainsbourg`s even though it isn`t bad either :
