Dear Imaginary - La la la
Okay V, I'm practically free - off work for 11 days, I could take a day or two for a cross country road trip/ crime spree.
Let’s shoot stuff
and steal stuff and drive to fast
Let’s throw
Brad Pit in the back
I won't tell George Violet but I think he'd be so proud of your gun work he'd over look the the Brad Pit fling thing.

Okay, Cate, good, so you're in.. Now for I.F...
.. hmm.. how to lure her into this Mustang driven, random shooting, sex spree of sheer desert wantonness??..
... For I.F... I think we need some special gear (besides the ratchet straps, I mean, though they're still important).. (we'll need some special lyrics too, it seems)..

FULL SCREEN..
oh, god.. the haiku..
Brad Pit in the back
I.F.'s whipping from the front
vi-let's sipping tea..
(as usual)..
edit.. I thought "sipping" instead of "drinking".. (but then I have a chest cold)..

Boy if that doesn’t get her out!
Vi -let’s drinking tea
Eating oranges, peeling bees
Flower leaves begin To open
and it seems they are hope’n
that these bees will chose to please
by dropping in some tea
that’s a bit long for a haiku - I'll try again
Vi-lets drinking tea
While Cate knocks on door
Can friend
Come out and play… please.
(don’t worry V. I remembered the rope in case she's busy doing Christmas stuff, we'll just tie her up and take her with, she'll be happy as long as we let her keep the rope afterwords. )

.. well, Cate, if not his lordship (who would no doubt scold you), I.F. is surely needed to keep your haikus in line, as methinks some discipline is in order.. your last one passes, but.. well, we'll see what I.F. has to say.. she may want to impose some, um, punishment.. of some kind.. (oh, the ratchet straps are red, by the way, for the holiday season).. (okay.. hmm.. Brad?..).. (did you put him in the trunk, Cate?)..
.. oh, keep forgetting..
Come out and play... please
Cate is way out of control
needs some discipline..
.. (methinks..).. (just saying).. (if you wouldn't mind)..

I knew I was forgetting something - good news though, we don't have to worry about that thumping sound in the car.

Hey Grecian Man - for the record
I did read your first post 2 years ago and have enjoyed many of the very funny, witty and silly posts here since. I've also enjoyed the more traditional/beautiful posts like Annes.

Hey Cate me too , all good in my book .
I was enjoying the humour in the above posts when I recalled Anne writing
that she didn't get the humour part in this thread but as with you she had seen many other things that she liked.
So I looked over previous posts and had to agree with her
Hope alls still well in haiku world
