The singer sounds like Bob Dylan.I quite like them but I will refrain from buying their stuff for the moment seeing as I have already bought two cd's you recommended, otherwise
I'll be broke!

Ive heard/read so many people say he sounds like Bob.....i honestly dont hear it! though Bob is obviously an influence on them, any way,im trying to cut down on getting too much new music too....its an addiction

I have that album on cd,on the the 1990 reissue of it you have the option of four different covers, the two above and these two below...
The one on top is just dreadful, the other one isnt great either but from what i remember it was a sarcastic response from Bowie to the suggestion that he use a more "American" looking cover,i also have a tshirt of the black high kick one
Ive always used the dress cover on the cd.....the only way to go!

Regina Spektor drives me nuts. They play her CD in work and I cannot stand it

Phew! They play this piped music through the shop where I work and to be honest. I hate it all now.... and Regina just happens to be on it. I hope they never include anything I love, cos that will be the death of it then for me.

I rediscovered this album last year after watching the movie Reign Over Me. The track Simple Man is played in the opening scene.
