Big stadium gigs, sky high prices, big cities...I can feel the excitement already.
Yes, like 64 eur for the front rows, in a big city of 85.000

Great news Jarkko so Len is playing small towns and cities and front row tickets are €64?
When are you listing these dates?

Finally (it was a challenge) I came to conclusion that it's rather a fact than a clue:
Lucca has 85.000.
But what about 64 euro?

Jarkko, you do a decent job but take off those rose coloured glasses sometimes.

85000? Maybe Limerick? Even though it's not on the mainland I never give up hope.

I even heard that if the city is an anagram of your name, then front row seats are free!

On Monday we will announce SEVEN concerts instead of five. All on the European mainland, including now three coast cities. All cities are in different, "new" (for 2013) countries. The announcement will be posted at 10 am CET = 11 am Eastern European Time.

Some contributions in this thread induce me to repeat a phrase I wrote in another thread:
Complain, complain, that´s all you´ve done ever since he tours.
No one forces you to engage in deals you don´t think just.
If you don´t like the package of Cohen concerts, don´t go to them.
If you prefer the packages of other artists, go there.
If you like Mr Cohen but not his actual concert packages listen to his albums, read his books.
Dear Marie,
please keep in mind when relating complaints to the management, these are complaints of some, not all forum members.
Mainly thanks to the presales via this forum I managed to go to quite a lot of concerts over the past years.
I am most grateful.
I am glad that Mr Cohen is still performing.
And I am grateful also to AEG and other management/promoters for making the tour happen. They do overall a very good job. Only exception: changing concerts without very hard reason after tickets have been sold (but how often did this happen within the last aprox 300 concerts?).
And, mind you when condemning the nasty business people: our presales are also offered and organized by AEG and the local organizers – of course in collaboration with our beloved Jarkko and others.
At concerts forum members are only a small minority of the audience.
The vast majority just has bought a ticket because they wanted to, never complaining.
We forum members are privileged with information and presales.
That does not make us better, “real fans”, deserving anything. Are the others not real?
I/we do not have any right on Mr Cohen, on any special kind of delivery.
I would never think I deserved anything, just because I like Mr Cohen´s lyrics and music.
Mr Cohen is an artist. I happen to like his artwork. If some kind of his art comes on the market, I decide on buying or not. No room for claiming, whining and begging.
I did not write this out of a “fan-ish” accepting anything from the Mr Cohen corner, but against presumptuous demands against the artists and the tour organization.
My contribution, no offence meant.
PS: while writing this I see Jarkko´s announcement of the announcement of 7 more concerts.
I am happily looking forward to this summer - I don´t see why I should have any negative thoughts.
Best,
Harald

I suspect that one of the concerts will be the one at Ahoy Rotterdam, which is already listed in the eventim booking system - since December (clearly to see for those people who work at a place where they sell concert tickets).
I really do not know what drives AEG to hold back dates, which have already been fixed, for such a long time. Is it really just greed- that they think LC fans will travel anywhere to - possibly- see him one last time, only to discover at the end that Leonard will play in their home town.
As for me, as long as he doesn't play Switzerland this year, I won't go to any concert.

Ah, sevenfold more opportunities for complaints and whining!!

It's common for promoters to start publicising their shows before all the contracts are signed (I know, I've done it!), usually contrary to the requirements/wishes of the tour organisers.... I don't have any great affection for AEG, but I don't see any evil intent on this one....
