Quizz Part 3

Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash.

Wo! I got 9/10, 10/10 and 4/10. No prizes for guessing which was 4/10. Cool quizzes, Jerry.

7/10 ~ DANG IT!!! I knew it was Shaving!!! Your first instincts are almost always right! DO NOT CHANGE YOUR ANSWERS! When I just tried to go with memory, I couldn't get past the refrain..........."It's just a dresssssssssssssssss rehearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsaaaaaaaaaaal raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag" [those on Hydra this past summer know what I'm talking about there   ] ~ so I tried to reason it out. Common, everyday activity ~ hmmm. Not everyone shaves daily [well, not bathes daily, either, but that's another story]. And even those who do shave, don't necessarily do it daily. Hence, my answer. The other two were stupid mistakes, too.....as I kept thinking, "It's gotta be Greensleeves, it's gotta be Greensleeves," but still went with Bird On A Wire   !

Well schoot!!! Now, I've gone and done it! The VERY same thing I was teasing/'complaining' to Tom about! As a matter of fact, I'm thinking Tom may have spoken about one test on another test's thread [smart move, Tom, if that's what it was].

OK ~ folks ~ shall I delete these posts of mine, in the interest of future testees?

Maybe they won't read down this far before testing, but you never know :? .

10/10 but I thought Dress Rehersal Rag was about suicide shaving was the next best option

He-he, it seems it was...

To make you happier, I wasn't sure either, but first answer is the correct one usually. I thought, my god, what? Then I remembered Santa Claus... :D

I know~! I'm still kicking myself for the shaving theme [my first thought!] of "Rag" ~ but, then, I just kept seeing, in my mind's eye, the footage of Leonard in the bathtub. Shaving/bathing ~ both rather a part of the same ritual :? . And the refrain of the song wouldn't budge from blocking my view to seeing or hearing anything else!!!

Ha! I did much better with this one: 9/10 :D

I only got the one about the Phil Spectre recording wrong. I didn't think he COULD have dedicated it to his mother!

I guessed about the shaving - seemed more sort of... appropriate... somehow, than having a bath!
Only just found this video of LC:

This one does make me cry.

Dammit! - only 9/10. The last one got me..I'd forgotten that "Villanelle" was dedicated to Scott, so I guessed with Haiku.

Cheers, John E
