I am a right bad ass, dankish prince and I love my Violet to bits.
I'm AGAINST the war!
God bless all those innocent lives that are its victims!
May peace come soon ...

As redundant as it may seem, I have also voted that I am AGAINST this war. I have many times noted my ambivalence about the innocent and oppressed people who live in Iraq. If I felt the war was really about them, my position would be drastically different. Yet, even so, I would want a peaceful solution to the end of their suffering.
I would be callous to not feel the joy of the Iraqi people dancing and hugging in the streets where Saddam's statue was felled. I am not callous. Even as the broadcasters from over there reported the events and described the joy in their faces, they also described the faces that showed the apprehension about the future. I am sadly interested to hear the total of innocent Iraqi lives lost in this conflict. I am also sadly interested to see what the continuum of this will be. Lives saved today are not necessarily lives saved tomorrow.

Who would've guessed? I voted against the war.
Now that the military actions seem to be approaching their end, now that the real war just begins, now that I look back on victims on both sides, now that some may think that the good has been achieved with a minimum of loss:
I was, I am, I will be against this war. The price already paid, though already too high (do not count those "killed in action" only, count those who will die for thirst, or starve, or will be killed by the inevitable diseases stemming from water contamination, those who will die from cancer created by uranium mantled bullets), will be the first installment only. The last war "won" in that region has been at the root of 9/11...
May we never have to taste the fruit that grows from the newly planted tree.

I voted for the war.
Hundreds of thousand children, women and men have been killed, raped and slaugtered during this regime.
The rest living in utterly fear.
Now the people of Iraq can begin the long walk towards a future in peace and democracy. With the US and hopefully the major part of UN, as the nessasary upholder of order.

Idiot Wind
I think that this kind of poll is, first of all, obsolete, and secondly, Idiot. There is no answer to that question of war, just like others great society problem. Nobody must have the pretention to chose a side. "The dealer wants you thinking that it's either black or white".
I'm for peace as I'm for war. Dividing these two entity is nocive for the world.

One for the money
Two for the show
Three to get ready
Go man go

How do I get out of here

Well, surprise, surprise...I see a member of the peace party has once again instigated a fight. Was it Candace who observed that it was the Peace People who drug this war all over the forum? George, were you drunk last night? I saw all your pleas for peace between the members of the forum. And then you immediately posted this poll. Oh, The Horror.
