halleluja

Post by MARTI »

I am disappointed that Halleluja is missing from the I'm Your Man soundtrack. I have said that before. someone answered my post and said that made sense to them, not me, no way, i think that was the best track of the movie.

anyway, they also said Rufus already had that song out there. Well, the only place i can find it is the Shrek sound track. Luckily my daughter burned a compilation c.d. of Rufus including halleluja, so i have it, but I have raved about it so much to my friend, she wants to hear it.

She doesn't want to buy the Shrek soundtrack, i don't blame her! Is that the only place Rufus has recorded it?

I will never understand why it was left off the movie, what a major mistake.

I have ordered K.D. Langs version of it on Hymns from the 49th Parallel. I listened to a little bit of Buckley's version on the Internet, didn't like it nearly as much as Rufus. I just want to know if my friend can get it anywhere except Shrek!!!! :P :P

Originally it appeared in Shrek soundtrack. Recently, live version was included on his album Want Two (as bonus DVD track in Multimedia section - maybe not all the albums have this bonus, so look out for enhanced versions / special editions).
