Err...right this moment? I listened to the highly anticipated new release of his when it came out. Honestly, did not like it one bit. A little too much Prince funk for my taste.

Most of the stuff Prince has put out for the last ten years has left me unimpressed ("Emancipation" notwithstanding). "Musicology", in particular was a major disappointment.

That is not to say I don´t revere his early stuff, up to the early 90´s. To me, Prince remains one of true musical geniuses of the 20th century. As for the lyrical content of his songs, I love his juxtapositions of the carnal and the spiritual (not unlike Cohen. :) )

I would love to hear Prince do some of Cohen´s more "soulful" stuff, "You Have Loved Enough" or "The Smokey Life" for example. :) On the other hand, I´m sure Leonard would feel at home with "The Ladder" or "The Love We Make". :)
