North American tour
North American tour
I am just new to this, but I don't see any North American tour dates. Do we have to go to Dublin or Istanbul?

The thread you are on says:
OLD IDEAS WORLD TOUR 2012
As jarkko would tell you, be patient, sooner or later you will get news of the North American dates and places.

I guess it all started for me sometime around Christmas 1967 and now, goodness me, it's.........2018 and over fifty years later.
No one ever listens to me. I might as well be a Leonard Cohen record.

Hi Patty, welcome to the forum!
If you would like to go to Dublin I'm sure you'll have a great time. However, over the past few weeks we have seen several indications that we are looking at a long tour that most likely will include North America. Nothing is guaranteed, but some of these indications are from tour officials.
I'm going to hold off for now, the money saved on travel expenses will be put to good use when tickets are available for US concerts!

Re: North American tour
I think it is clear that this is the EUROPEAN leg of the world tour. It was said many times that US&Canadian dates are expected later in the year, and then also a leg down under...

Does anyone know if Leonard ever considered this venue? It is the most AMAZING outdoor venue in N. America and up there in the world.

Re: North American tour
The dates for the US can't be announced soon enough. It's been too long since the first time I got to see Leonard. Might try to see a couple shows this time rather than just the closest one. One of the few artists I would travel for!
