Hello good people of the Leonard Cohen Forum,
I'm new here and seeking out some info on a record I recently received from a dear sweet friend of mine. She bought me a copy of the Leonard Cohen tribute album "I'm Your Fan". Such a great record, I love it, there are some great versions of Cohen's best songs.
I have searched up and down on the internet and have found nothing regarding a mislabel or misprint. I am hoping some one here may have some answers for me. The records I have are on the EastWest record label from France. It's not the gatefold version but the regular cover. Here is the thing though. When I went to play it I put on the first record and the songs from the second record started playing, so at first I thought I had got a set of records that were the same, turns out that the labels are switched up and I have both records, but the labels are switched up. Pretty damn weird, but cool, is what I thought, also relief that I was able to listen to the whole album.
So, does anyone know if this is common to all the releases of this version on EastWest or do I have something here that is rare? Then of course, my next question is, does something like this raise the value?
Thank You so much if any one can help, I'm a long time Cohen fan going back to the early 90's. A friend of mine was a fan and turned me onto him around the time The Future came out. That record had quite an impact on me, it also made me realize how much of an influence Cohen was to a lot of the bands I liked in 90s. particularly the Sisters of Mercy.
Thanks again if anyone can help answer my questions or tell me more about this album.

A place like Discogs or Gemm are good ways to find out the little intricacies that come with certain vinyl releases?TheTwiliteKid wrote:Hello good people of the Leonard Cohen Forum,
