The Duchess and I are especially appreciative of the good wishes and kind words from the community Leonard Cohen friends and admirers.

I am remiss in not posting that acknowledgment earlier; it turns out that the logistic demands of betrothal, combining households, and an impending wedding, even if the ceremony involves barely enough folks to make it legal, approximate those of the Apollo Space Program, and, consequently, even matters as important as thank-yous have been delayed.

Our gratitude, however, is sincere and heartfelt.
