Easy way to read our Forum for iPad/iPhone users

Post by jarkko »

Rauli has activated a very efficient Forum plug-in for members who use iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
The plug-in is called Tapatalk Forum App.
Also available for BlackBerry and Android phones. More at http://www.tapatalk.com

Go to Apple store with your iPhone or iPad, and search for "Tapatalk forum app"
The software costs 2,39 eur ($2,99). You only have to pay once, it covers all your i-devices.

Install the application and open it. Then search for "leonard cohen forum",
and tap on the name. (Next time it will be ready for you under "search")
Then just log-in with your forum name and password. You will have all
the Forum features available for you, in very convenient format, and MUCH quicker
than it's possible with Safari. It will also show you your unread messages etc.
and you can read your PMs, and so on. Highly recommended!

Also note that you may attach photos to your messages directly from your iPhone!

It also works with 15.000 other Forums.
Tapatalk for iPhone provides full forum access on iPhone including ability to check private messages, upload photos from your camera and ability to search forum, etc. All with super-fast direct forum access at only $2.99.
Tapatalk for iPhone was released on July 2009 with over 30 updates until now. It is currently ranked as Top 10 Social Networking app in Apple app store in United States, England, German, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Canada and in many other countries.

I'm a trained attacked dog. I saw iPhone in the title of this thread and almost deleted this message thinking it was spam.

I installed the app on my iPhone and it works nicely. Thanks much.

Well, I went to the Forum page today on my iPad and a very helpful pop-up message told me about the app before I even got into the site properly! Will have a look later. Thanks.

Leave it to you two! My land line has no use for it and I don't own a cellphone, but what a great convenience for those who can and have already checked into it.

Fantastic! I've just been typing a long post on my iPad and getting really frustrated by it, I'll definitely download this app and see if it helps.

:? Spent my money and have to say I prefer the layout of the web site and think it works faster for browsing and reading.

Maybe I am still a Luddite at heart.

On the subject of apps for browsing I recommend Flipboard. It is free and I love it.

Thanks for that Jarkko. What a great way to keep updated with the forum. I am afraid you will be seeing me more often from now on.
