Dominique Boile confirms what Wendy already said, "The Early Years" is exactly the same DVD as "Under Review 1934-1977" with the same bonus and extras.
The running time (87 minutes) is the same. Only title, cover and back cover have changed.

Re: New DVD
Thanks to the previous posters warning us that this is a copy of an older film and thus a deception. However, if anyone who does not yet own a copy, and still wants to purchase a version of it, the original "Leonard Cohen - Under Review 1934-1977" is currently priced at £10.99 on Amazon (UK). While, "Leonard Cohen -The Early Years" is currently priced at £5.99 (for the newer version of same film).

Re: New DVD
I was going through some stuff the other night and came across The Early Years. Funny thing is I have absolutely no recollection of buying it and I don't know where I bought it. (I buy most of my music in HMV). I know I definitely didn't get it on Amazon. Anyway I popped it on and enjoyed - I would say its definitely a must for completists. Some interesting interviews on there.

Re: New DVD
The Under Review documentary is not a bad video to watch. There are some interesting comments on it from a few of the critics. It was bad behavior to reissue it under a different title though, not changing one thing. They could have at least added some new material or something.

Re: New DVD
Lucky for us we have this great website to turn to whenever any 'new' Leonard stuff hits the market. As if, one of the great people here wouldn't know what was what. If there was a new dvd, Jarkko would be the first to let us know...my experience anyway.
